Lou Gazzara was born in Stratford, NJ and from the sound of his
very first cry his mother said “this boy definitely has a great set of lungs!”
His parents never imagined where those lungs, and the voice, would lead him.
In 2002 Lou had one of the most amazing experiences of his
life. At just seventeen, he would beat out over 70,000 hopefuls to become of the
youngest contestants ever to make it into “American Idol: Season 2.” It was this
experience that would change his life, one which allowed him to gain respect as
a vocalist and performer among those that knew him and even those who were
seeing him for the first time. After Idol, Lou stretched far
beyond his home town of Folsom, NJ, and he found moderate success
performing and acting. Recently, Lou put movie scripts aside to go back to his
roots and focus on his true love: singing. “Music is my life, it makes me come
alive! There isn’t anything that I love more then being able to
sing..." Later this year Lou will release his debut album, “I Love
It.” Richie McDonald, formerly of “Lonestar” helped write one of the songs. With
voice, presence and charisma, it is easy to see why Lou captivates audiences
with every performance, gaining regard as one of the hottest new artists in
today’s entertainment industry.
